Dr. Larry Chu leads Stanford's innovative medical education initiatives, bringing expertise in medical education and technology-enhanced learning to the program. Creator of the Stanford Anesthesia, Informatics, and Media (AIM) Lab, he also oversees multiple summer and fall programs for aspiring medical professionals, technologists, and design-thinkers through the Stanford Anesthesia Summer Institute (SASI).
In addition to Dr. Chu, Dr. Sachin Mittal contributes advanced procedural knowledge and a passion for clinical skills development, while Dr. Roya Saffary's expertise in surgical education shapes our hands-on training approach. Dr. Andrea Traynor brings extensive experience in clinical teaching and surgical simulation, complemented by Dr. Simon Chu's fresh perspectives from active surgical practice.
